The Mobile Homes Act 1983 only applies to agreements whose substantially exclusive purpose was the grant of a right to station a mobile home on a pitch and occupy it as a residence. In order to have the benefit of the Act, a tenancy has to fall within the provisions of s1(1) at its inception.
