We are delighted to report that James Watthey has been elected Chairman of the Gray’s Inn Barristers Committee for a 3 year term. The Committee has a broad brief to represent the voice and interests of employed and self-employed practising barristers to the Benchers and Senior Management of the Inn. The position carries with it a seat on the Inn’s Management Committee.

James said:

“Gray’s has been good to me, and its scholarships made it possible for me to train for the Bar exams in the first place.  I am proud to be a member and to have been given the backing of my peers in this way.  I am looking forward to continuing my work on the committee"
