Insolvency – a brave new world?

The insolvency market has been given a big shake up with the introduction of the new Insolvency Rules 2016.  The Hardwicke Insolvency team have been at the forefront of these changes:

• Members of the team rewrote Atkins Corporate Insolvency volume.
• In the process, Alaric Watson rewrote the court forms – which forms have since been adopted by the court.
• The team has published a number of articles to assist clients:
  • A summary of the key changes in the Insolvency Rules
  • The Insolvency Rules 2016 – an assault on red tape?
  • Key changes in the new Practice Direction 2018
  • The revised Practice Direction 2018

Their sell out seminar when the new Insolvency Rules became operative was chaired by Stephen Baister, then Chief Registrar.  They have subsequently provided inhouse training for clients on the topic as well as webinars and practice notes for Practical Law and LexisNexis.
