Hardwicke joins Clifford Chance Round the Island

James Watthey stepped on board a Clifford Chance sponsored Bavaria 36 to take part in the world’s biggest and most famous yacht race. The JPMorgan Asset Management Round the Island race took place on 23 June 2007 in stunning conditions. 1,800 yachts, including some of the top names in yachting, braved the demanding 60 mile race around the Isle of Wight. Unlike Olympic double gold medalist Shirley Robertson,  the CC boat even managed to avoid going aground!

Over £80,000 was raised for charity through the event.
