Protecting the vulnerable: Housing, social services and the Court of protection

The seminar will include a discussion of:

• Dealing with tenancy management issues where a person lacks capacity including looking at decision making by social services.
• Identifying a “protected person” and the impact the “protected” status may have on litigation.
• The use of the Court of Protection as an alternative to civil proceedings.
