Judicial Review for Housing Practitioners

08 May 2014 - , 00:00

With housing associations deemed public bodies for the purposes of judicial review, it is possible for decisions made by such bodies to be challenged using the judicial review process. Indeed, some of the landmark housing law decisions in recent years have been as a result of judicial review challenge.

In this seminar, Morayo Fagborun Bennett and Leon Glenister will cover:

  • The procedure and remedies of judicial review
  • The importance of policies and areas in which review claims are likely
  • How landlords can best protect themselves from a successful judicial review claim
  • The implications of the Human Rights Act to judicial review
