The final seminar is about interim and final injunctions – an expression of one of the Court’s most aggressive remedial powers (the ability to force a defendant, on pain of punishment, to do or refrain from doing something harmful to the claimant). Injunctive relief is, therefore, an extremely powerful tool for litigators seeking to establish an early upper hand in litigation. This seminar will focus on certain key features of injunctive relief and the various considerations which arise in their deployment. In particular, this seminar will discuss: freezing injunctions, search orders, and anti-suit injunctions in support of foreign proceedings; upholding or defeating an injunction and the duty of full and frank disclosure; and enforcing injunctions in cases of suspected non-compliance.
Invites for this seminar will be sent out in due course.
