Interested in the Register? Priorities, Rectification and Indemnities

The Hardwicke Property team are revisiting by way of Zoom seminar the topic of registered land so anyone who missed this when it was run in Birmingham and London in late 2019 may be interested in joining in.  The speakers are Brie Stevens-Hoare KC, Daniel Gatty and guest speaker, Professor Simon Cooper.   

The seminar will cover the following:

• Priorities: A review of recent cases including Baker v Craggs, Williams v Broadoak Private Finance, Mortgage Express v Lambert and Wishart v Credit and Mercantile.
• Rectification of the land register: making arguments about exceptional circumstances.
• Indemnities: A practically focused summary of “who can” secure an indemnity, the “when” and “how to” do so with a collection of useful tips.
