Our Insolvency #HardwickeBrew is back by popular demand and the first brew of the new term will take place at 4pm on Thursday, 1st October.
As the country struggles to avoid pitching into a second lockdown, the Government is extending many of the time-restricted temporary provisions in the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act (with its Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 (Coronavirus) (Extension of the Relevant Period) Regulations 2020). Meanwhile, as the Job Retention Scheme draws to a close and the economy implodes, insolvency lawyers and IPs struggle to come to terms with the “new normal”. To discuss these issues, this #HardwickeBrew will be hosted by Alaric Watson, Jonathan Titmuss and Sarah Clarke.
Join our discussion armed with whatever drink you need to get you through another day at the virtual office.
#HardwickeBrews are online, informal Zoom chats aimed at keeping everyone up to date and giving us all a forum in which to exchange opinions and experiences.
Please feel free to get in touch with Katrina Mather, who will be moderating, if you would like to pose any questions or make any comments on these issues in advance of the brew. You will of course also be able to ask questions and make comments during the #HardwickeBrew itself.
As before, wandering children and pets welcome!
If you would like to join in, please e-mail: events@gatehouselaw.co.uk.
We look forward to catching up at a safe social distance.
