#HardwickeBrew – Clinical Negligence & Personal Injury – Circumventing QOCS?

10 Feb 2021, 14:00 - 14:30

The Hardwicke Clinical Negligence & Personal Injury Team invite you to join them in an informal Zoom chat to discuss the liability of experts for wasted legal costs, in light of recent case law.

This session will be hosted by Colm Nugent and Nye Moloney.

Recent case law has given valuable guidance on the circumstances in which experts may be liable for the costs of any action.

The Brew will deal with:

  • The potential liability
  • The threshold test
  • The procedural requirements
  • The evidence required
  • The key cases.

Attendees will be provided with a ‘takeaway cup’ after the session containing the key points and the key cases so you can sit back, concentrate on the discussion and even join in, if you wish!

There will be facilities to ask questions as we go along or at the end. If you have key questions you’d like addressed in the Brew, send them via email to Nye.

If you would like to join in, please email events@hardwicke.co.uk and, subject to numbers, we will send you a link to the #HardwickeBrew.

We look forward to catching up at a safe social distance!
