COVID- 19 – How Gatehouse Chambers is operating

News
25 Mar 2020

Gatehouse Chambers continues to respond the Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation and to ensure that we do all we can to keep our people, clients, friends and families safe.

It is now imperative that we do all we can to limit physical contact for the time being and therefore our working premises at Hardwicke Building in Lincoln’s Inn is closed.

However, Hardwicke remains open for business, in as normal a way as we can make it.  Barristers, practice managers and the rest of our staff team are working remotely and making good use of technology to reach out.

With the complete lockdown now in place, it will be more challenging in terms of papers and post, but we want to work proactively with clients to make it work.  Our barristers and practice managers are accessible and will be making contact in respect of on-going work.  For new matters our practice managers will guide you through the process, but we would ask you not to send papers to us through the post or DX while the building is closed please.

Our business opening hours are 9am – 6pm.

You can call us on +44 (0)20 7242 2523. Our normal telephone system is still operating and our usual friendly team is available to help.

If you would like to instruct us or have a query relating to an existing instruction, please contact the practice management team.  Contact details for each individual barrister can be found on their website profile pages alongside details of their team of lead practice managers.  Contact details for the members of our practice team can be found on the Practice Management page of our website.

For ease, see a summary page of all contacts during this unusual time.

Whilst these remain unsettling times for all of us, we want to wish everyone the very best.

If you need any further information or have any other queries or concerns please contact our CEO Amanda Illing and either she or one of our team will respond as soon as possible.
