Charles Raffin spoke recently at the fourth English-Cypriot Law Day 2019, in Limassol, Cyprus(13th September 2019). Charles spoke on the topic of “Freezing injunctions in aid of foreign proceedings and Recast Brussels Regulation Article 35: some observations”, on a panel chaired by the President of the District Court.
Organised by the Bar Council of England and Wales and the Cypriot Bar Association, this celebrated event served to bring together barristers and Cypriot legal practitioners to discuss the latest commercial and criminal law developments in an Anglo-Cypriot context, with a focus on the impact of Brexit on the two countries and developments in the ever expanding field of sanctions law.
