Charles Raffin provides Q&A session as part of the annual Law School Challenge

Charles Raffin with Esther Lemmon, Counsel in the Allen & Overy London Tax Group, gave a 60 minute Q&A session recently to students from Liverpool John Moores University, who were the winners of the Early Bird Prize in the Law School Challenge.

Run annually by LawWorks and Advocate (the new name of the Bar Pro Bono Unit), the Law School Challenge is a fundraising initiative designed to raise money for both charities as well as awareness of their work. A nationwide initiative, the aim of the Challenge is to raise funds for both charities, to support the facilitation of free legal advice as well as raising awareness of the services available.

The same team from Liverpool John Moores went on to win the Challenge overall, raising an impressive £4,900 hosting a very successful boxing event, as well as a number of cake sales and quiz nights.
