Charles Raffin in successful appeals to the RACB Motor Racing National Court of Appeal

Charles Raffin with Jamie Horner of 7Legal represented two motor-racing teams from the Blancpain GT Race series in their recent successful appeals to the RACB Motor Racing National Court of Appeal, in Brussels.

Charles has a busy sports law practice and has acted for a range of interests from domestic and international event organisers to regulatory bodies, sports teams and clubs as well as individual sports persons. He works in various sporting disciplines including athletics, football, motorsports (from F1 through to JSCC junior racing), tennis and rugby union.

Charles’ contentious sports law work includes acting in domestic High Court and international litigation (encompassing commercial, ticketing and anti-doping matters) as well as acting in challenges to the decisions and actions of governing bodies both here and abroad. In the non-contentious sphere, Charles’ work includes advising motor-racing teams in connection with driver contracts and existing (as well as potential) investors in motor-racing within and without the Jurisdiction.
