Amanda Illing and the Hardwicke Juniors succeed at the Modern Law Awards

We are delighted to announce that Amanda Illing has won the “Non-lawyer of the Year” award at the Eclipse Proclaim Modern Law Awards, and that our Junior Barristers are highly commended in the category “Team of the Year”.

Amanda Illing, who became CEO of Hardwicke in 2012, is a true innovator and instigator of change, always seeking to drive modernisation of the Bar. The “Non-lawyer of the Year” award recognises professionals in the legal industry who have made a major contribution to the success of their practice, as evidenced by strategic skills and overall performance in the context of the legal practice.

Our Junior Barristers team was shortlisted for the “Team of the Year” award in recognition of their work on Hardwicke’s “Junior to Junior” (J2J) training programme. The programme is a demonstration of their exceptional achievements through teamwork and innovative thinking, and we are delighted that they received the “Highly Commended” credit at the Modern Law Awards.

The Eclipse Proclaim Modern Law Awards were launched in 2013 to celebrate talent and success in entrepreneurship, market development, business management and best practice in the modern legal services arena.
